Savor the Season Advent Week One Reflection

I had it on my heart to share a weekly reflection from one of the gospels in Luke leading up to the Birth of Jesus. I find that in the midst of Advent sometimes we can find ourselves trying to do all of the things rather than slowing down to savor the moments of grace found right in front of us.

I want to invite you to pause and ponder each day the scripture of the week. I have included some reflection questions to help to guide you in your prayer. Take time to reflect on what God is calling you to and keep that in front of you each day of this week…

When you are tempted to rush, pause and remember to slow down and see the gift in the present moment where our Lord waits to meet you. He is with you in the dishes, laundry, carpool, and cooking. Sometimes what we need more than anything is to silence our words and be open to hear what He wants to tell us…

Here is week one. You can print it off or save it to your phone for a quick reference. Make sure to subscribe to the blog so you can receive upcoming devotional reflections as well as future posts! I would love to hear how these help you, what part spoke to you, and how this is leading you in your prayer. Feel free to share and tag me on social media or message me as you go through the weeks of Advent.

Be Blessed,
