Your Sacred Heart is our Home…

Lord you are my refuge
You Hold all that my heart longs for and holds dear.
I thirst for Your Shelter.
To hear the beating of your Sacred Heart is my Home and comfort.
Like a baby in their mothers womb who finds comfort and warmth in her heartbeat.

Hide me there.
Shelter Me Lord.
Draw me deeper into Love of you.
Help me radiate that Love into a word that longs for the refuge and peace that only you can give.

You Alone are our Creator and our Father
You Alone know our hearts and our souls
You made us Good
You hold us into existence

Yet we cling to others things in hopes for peace.
We hide from you out of fear and shame.
We run from you out of doubt and worry that you will not love us anymore.

And you come to find us…
You come to our rescue
You call us by name
You remind us of your Love
You went to the cross out of Love not anger
You created us out of Love not randomness
You look Lovingly at us…we are Your Beloved.

Help us to see one another the same…as Your Beloved.
Help us to guide one another to the Home of your Sacred Heart.
Help us to long to hear the beating of your heart over the noise of this world that is loud and chaotic…

You are Home
You are Peace
You are Love
You Alone are what we need…
